Needs Assessment:
This conference will cover basic otolaryngology education targeted at community-based ENT surgeons. The unique nature of webinars, fostered the idea of running continuing medical education for 48 straight hours, creating something like a news channel for otolaryngology continuing medical education content. The subjects of interest for the Updates Course include:
Sinus Surgery and Nasal Allergy Management
Rhinoplasty and Facial Aesthetic Surgery
Injectables and Fillers for Facial Rejuvenation
Pediatric Otolaryngology
Disorders of Swallowing
Head and Neck Oncology and Tumor Surgery
Diseases of the Ear and Neurotologic Disorders
Vocal Cord and Voice Disorders
Ultrasound
Course Objectives:
Expand surgical skills; specifically to evaluate when open and closed rhinoplasty can be used.
Access, identify and perform the latest techniques in management of laryngeal diseases and disorders of speech.
Better manage complex sinonasal disorders and expand and develop surgical techniques for performing paranasal sinus surgery.
Expand the use of various hearing devices and surgical techniques with respect to treating diseases of the middle ear and cranial base.
