Description:	Course Details
Needs Assessment:	EVENT IS FULLY BOOKED. REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED. This course is designed to help physicians and clinicians develop their clinical knowledge and professional skills to better evaluate and manage patients with heart failure, especially those patients who may need mechanical circulatory support devices, heart transplant or other interventional procedures.
Course Objectives:	Learning Objectives Identify features that aid in the accurate diagnosis and evaluation of patients with heart failure, including special populations. Update on the most current guidelines for the management of patients with heart failure and implementation in clinical practice. Recognize signs and symptoms of advanced heart failure and understand the role of novel technologies and interventions for patients with advanced heart failure. Recognize and effectively manage patients at risk of cardiogenic shock. Recognize the value of collaboration and key elements of an effective heart failure disease management program.
