Overview:
This workshop is designed to highlight the latest utility of point of care ultrasound for perioperative medicine. Over two days, this course will offer training on a "whole-body" ultrasound examination designed to expand anesthesiologists' skills with cardiac, pulmonary, abdominal, regional, and vascular ultrasound. The speakers have termed this examination FORESIGHT (Focused, PeriOperative, Risk, Evaluation, Sonography, Involving, Gastro-Abdominal, Hemodynamic, and Trans-Thoracic US).
The utility of the concepts of this examination has been validated by anesthesiologists. This examination has been designed by a team of anesthesiologists who identified the key aspects of cardiac, pulmonary, abdominal, and hemodynamic ultrasound for perioperative care.

* Describe a whole body point of care ultrasound examination that focuses on the issues relevant to perioperative medicine
* Explain how to perform each component of this whole body point care ultrasound examination
* Interpret images for each component of the whole body point of care ultrasound examination
This year also features optional online modules to complement this training, and provide additional credit!.
