In the current era of spiraling medical costs with growing emphasis on the provision of cost-effective medical care, it has become increasingly important for primary care physicians to be adept at evaluating and treating ambulatory gynecologic problems. This four-day symposium provides the participant with a practical, clinical update on a full range of women’s health issues including the diagnosis and management of common gynecologic complaints, contraception, endocrine disorders, and the menopause. In-depth, small group workshops are included which instruct and allow participants to develop and refine their skills with endometrial biopsy, colposcopy and the intrauterine contraceptive device.
