Activity Name:	3rd Annual Concepts in Congenital Cardiac Care Symposium
Description:	Course Details
Needs Assessment:	This activity is designed for general pediatricians, pediatric cardiologists, cardiologists, echo sonographers, neonatal and pediatric nursing staff as well as other allied health professionals involved in the care of pediatric patients.
Course Objectives:	At the end of the activity, participants should be able to: Discuss the short- and long-term care of the patient with congenital heart disease. Describe the transition of the cardiovascular system from the fetus to the neonate. Recognize the echo-sonographic findings most commonly encountered in congenital heart disease, including patent ductus arteriosus. Discuss management strategies for the adult patient with congenital heart disease. Identify community resources available for the pediatric patient with congenital heart disease.
