Description:
The ability to provide healthcare remotely has tremendous implications for healthcare cost, access to care, and patient satisfaction. It also has its drawbacks as evaluation of a patient is limited without physical proximity. Dr. Michael Ong discusses the history of telemedicine, how it (and connected health) is defined, and current and future applications of this technology.
