Course Information
Needs Assessment:
This lectureship will bring together neurological surgeons, alumni, fellows and other health care providers to review different neurosurgical pathology. Faculty members will discuss their subspecialty and provide updates on the latest technology and surgical techniques. Participants will learn about minimally invasive treatment options for a variety of neurosurgical pathology. Current clinical trials and possible future treatments for spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury will be discussed.
Course Objectives:
Identify possible improvements to their practice based on evidence-based patient care.
Describe the latest treatment for traumatic spine and brain injury.
Describe minimally invasive options for neurosurgical pathology.
Understand the role of robotics in neurosurgical treatment.
