	Musculoskeletal Ultrasound of the Shoulder and Hip Training Course Musculoskeletal Ultrasound of the Shoulder and Hip Training Course, presented by the UC San Diego School of Medicine has been developed as an educational opportunity to provide training in musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSKUS) of the hip and shoulder. The objective of the course is to enable providers to use MSKUS as a point-of care imaging tool to assist with diagnosis and treatment of shoulder and hip joint pains. Leading MSK ultrasound experts will cover ultrasound scanning, sonoanatomy, and sonopathology pertaining to hemophilic joint disease through interactive lectures, case presentations, round table discussions, and advanced MSKUS imaging techniques including MSKUS examination of hemophilic joints. This program is currently the only hands-on scanning course that provides comprehensive training and experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound in hemophilia.

Course Objectives:	Upon completion of this activity participants should be able to: Describe the normal sonoanatomy of the hip and shoulder Perform systematic and comprehensive diagnostic scan protocols of the hip and shoulder Identify abnormal sonographic findings of common musculoskeletal disorders of the hip and shoulder (tenosynovitis, tendinosis as precursor to tendon failure, rotator cuff disease, hip effusion vs psoas bleed, trochanteric pain, Piriformis imaging) Describe the benefit of ultrasound guided injections of the hip and shoulder
