Review Course for Registered in Musculoskeletal (RMSK® ) Sonography Certification and the Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS ) Credential
The program offers participants an introduction to musculoskeletal ultrasound (MSKUS) and includes relevant material on shoulder, elbow, hand/wrist, knee, hip, ankle and foot. Participants will be able to identify a broad range of both common and atypical pathologies that are identified by sonographic imaging. Course materials is a compilation of the most relevant information needed to perform MSKUS examinations systematically, identify image artifacts, provide interpretation algorithms, and recognize pathology; thus providing a knowledge base essential to the optimal practice of MSKUS. Participants will be familiarized with the principles of ultrasound guided procedures including their mechanics and ergonomics, altogether enhancing accuracy of diagnosis and treatment.
