Activity Name:	Faculty and Residents as Educators - 3rd Annual Symposium
Needs Assessment:	This program is designed for physician educators who are involved in teaching the practice of medicine. It is intended to provide information on multi-faceted educational approaches and contemporary tools that can be applied to increase the effectiveness of teaching. Target Audience Physician educators, including faculty, fellows, and residents.
Course Objectives:	At the conclusion of this course, learners will be better able to: Apply innovative strategies for teaching basic knowledge to trainees for the purpose of passing in-training and medical board examinations. Utilize techniques in teaching compassion and professionalism. Embark on medical education research projects within their medical discipline. Access and download social media tools and web-based content currently available. Institute a flipped classroom model as a teaching strategy.
