Description:

It is well-recognized that type 2 diabetes is growing, major health problem in the United States. Those with poorly-controlled diabetes can suffer from a number of complications. Through these videos, primary care providers will be equipped with new practice changing tools to help their patients gain better control over their diabetes.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Refer appropriate patients to diabetes education.
  • Use the first-line diabetes medication metformin most effectively.
  • Choose appropriate second-line diabetes medications.
