    PHARMACOTHERAPY FOR SMOKING CESSATION



    The UCSF Smoking Cessation Leadership Center is pleased to offer this special collection of select past webinars. This Collection includes two webinars for a single price. You will learn about the seven medications with FDA-labeled indications for smoking cessation, how to prescribe them and counsel your patients. You will also learn about combination therapy and specific treatment plans for your patients.


    Registration
    The above webinars are accessible individually for the base price indicated. To participate in the entire Collection, enroll only once by clicking the "Select" button in the upper-right section of the screen. Once registered, you may then select and view any of the recorded webinars above by clicking the title and streaming or downloading the .mp4 file.

    You are free to choose to view only 1 or both webinars in the Collection.

    Claiming Credit
    The estimated time to complete an activity is 90 to 120 minutes PER WEBINAR. Upon finishing the recording, answer the multiple-choice test questions (with a passing score of 70% or better), and complete the evaluation form for each webinar to receive a certificate, which will be available immediately for download or print. Each webinar has its own quiz, evaluation and certificate, and each is worth 1.50 to 2.00 CME credits. Completion of both webinars in the collection is equivalent to 3.50 CE credits. You must complete each webinar, quiz and evaluation in the Collection to earn the maximum credits.

    This Collection will be available from June 20, 2017 through August 31, 2017.


    Accreditation

    The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

    UCSF designates this enduring material for a maximum of 3.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

    Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses: For the purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME.

    Physician Assistants: The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) states that the AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are acceptable for continuing medical education requirements for recertification.

    California Pharmacists: The California Board of Pharmacy accepts as continuing professional education those courses that meet the standard of relevance to pharmacy practice and have been approved for AMA PRA category 1 credit™. If you are a pharmacist in another state, you should check with your state board for approval of this credit.

    Social Workers: Not all of the webinars in this collection may be qualified for CEU's. See individual accreditation statements to verify if credit for California Social Workers is available.
